Secondary abstract: | During the course of this master's work, numerical model of SHPB test apparatus has been made, using LS-Dyna software. Previously obtained data of actual experiments has been used to validate said numerical model. Inverse method has been used to determine dynamic characteristics of tested material. Validated numerical model enables us to predict and determine the testing parameters prior to the actual testing, thus lowering the number of required experiments to obtain a large enough sample for statistical analysis. The actual execution of the test, as well as processing of the raw data is also presented in this work. |
