Abstract

V okviru diplomske naloge smo s polimerizacijo kontinuirne faze emulzije pripravili porozen polimer s piridinsko osnovo. Uporabili smo monomera divinilbenzen in 4-vinilpiridin. Po polimerizaciji v pečici pri 60°C smo monolite prečistili v Soxhletovem aparatu. Polimere smo nadalje tudi hiperzamrežili. Pri tem smo spreminjali delež iniciatorja di-tert-butil peroksida. Prvič smo uporabili 0,2 g iniciatorja/g polimera, v drugem primeru pa 0,4 g iniciatorja/ g polimera. Osnovni in hiperzamrežen material smo okarakterizirali s kemijskimi analiznimi metodami. Izmerili smo specifično površino po BET metodi in vsebnost dušika v materialu ter okarakterizirali površino z vrstično elektronsko mikroskopijo. Na oba tipa materiala smo izvedli tudi vezavo dveh kovin, bakra in železa. Za kvantitativno določitev vezave elementov smo uporabili atomsko absorpcijsko spektrometrijo. Tako smo pripravili in analizirali hiperzamrežene polimere s funkcionalnimi deli, ki se lahko uporabljajo kot katalizatorji na trdnih nosilcih pri organskih reakcijah

Secondary abstract: Within this diploma thesis, a porous polymer with a pyridine base was prepared by the polymerization of the continuous phase of the emulsion. Monomers divinylbenzene and 4-vinylpyridine were used. After the polymerization in the oven at 60 °C, the monoliths were purified in Soxhlet' apparatus. The polymers were further crosslinked. In this step, the proportion of initiator di-tert-butyl peroxide was changed. In the first case we used 0.2 g of the initiator per gram of polymer and in the second case, 0.4 g of initiator per g of polymer. The basic and crosslinked material were characterized by chemical analytical methods. We measured the specific surface area according to the BET method and the nitrogen content of the material. We characterized the surface of polymers with Scanning electron microscopy. We also carried out the immobilization of two metals on polymer, namely copper and iron, using both types of the material. For the quantitative analysis we used the atomic absoprtion spectrometry. This is how we prepared and analyzed functional crosslinked polymers that can be used as solid supported catalysts for organic reactions.
