Abstract

Filmska produkcija nam prikazuje ustvarjanje filmov. Z razvojem tehnologije in digitalizacijo se je spreminjal tudi celoten proces ustvarjanja filma. Zaradi tega lahko dandanes ustvarimo dober film z zelo nizkim filmskim proračunom, prav tako pa so v zadnjih enajstih letih zaradi razvoja v uporabi posebnih učinkov ustvarili najdražje filme vseh časov. Proračun se lahko razlikuje glede na zvrst filma. Filmi s posebnimi učinki so dražji v primerjavi s tistimi, ki posebnih učinkov nimajo. Prav tako je igrani film v večini dražji od dokumentarnega, saj ustvarjanje slednjega ne zajema vseh faz, ki jih najdemo pri igranem filmu. Poznamo določene specifike financiranja, značilne posebej za ZDA, Evropo in Slovenijo, kot tudi razvoj novejših platform, kot sta Kickstarter in Indiegogo, ki sta skupna vse trem. Po številu ustvarjenih filmskih uspešnic še zmeraj prevladujejo ZDA in hollywoodska industrija.

Secondary abstract: Film production shows us the making of a film. The process of making a film has changed with the development of technology and digitalisation. That is why nowadays we can make a good film with a very low budget. On the other side the most expensive films were made because of the special effect development in the past eleven years. The budget can be different depending on the type of the film. Films that include special effects are more expensive than the ones without them. Featured films are more expensive than documentaries because documentaries don't include all the phases that featured film making does. We know the specifics of financing a film that are typical for The United States of America, Europe and Slovenia. There are also new platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo that are typical for United States, Europe and Slovenia. The United States of America and its Hollywood industry are still in lead in making blockbusters.
