Secondary abstract: | Diploma thesis examines the distribution of stress in hydraulic rescue spreaders. The existing geometry model was modeled in Solidworks and exported to Abaqus CAE for stress analysis with finite element metod. Based on these results, three construction solutions were made, to reduce the overal weight of the spreaders. Stress analysis were made in both close and open position of the retracting arms. Weight was reduced withouth compromising structural integrity Stress in spreader tips was also reduced. |
