Abstract

Motnje hranjenja so znak čustvenih stisk in se kažejo kot spremenjen odnos do hrane. Navzven predstavljajo človekovo notranjo duševno in čustveno vznemirjenje in nesprejemanje samega sebe. Oseba, ki trpi zaradi motenj hranjenja, kaže svoje težave s spremenjenim odnosom do hrane in prehranjevanja, s tem pa tudi svojo bolečino. Motnje hranjenja predstavljajo način soočanja s problemi, ki se osebi zdijo nerešljivi ali pa gre za kontrolo lastnega telesa in življenja v situaciji, ko se oseba zdi, da ga v ostalih vidikih kontrolirajo drugi.

Secondary abstract: Eating disorders are a sign of emotional disorders and are reflected in a changed attitude towards food. They represent an outward expression of a person's mental and emotional distress and non-acceotance of oneself. A person who suffers from eating disorders expresses his emotional problems with a changed attitude towards food and eating, and by that expressing his own pain. Eating disorders can be a way of dealing with problems that seem to be unsolvable to a person, or it can be about controlling a person's own body and life in circumstances when a person feels that every other aspects of his life are controlled by others.
