delo diplomskega projekta
Abstract
V diplomskem projektu smo najprej predstavili ključne pojme, kot sta podjetništvo in podjetnik nasploh, nakar sledi predstavitev slovenskega in madžarskega podjetništva.

Comparison of entrepreneurial activity in Slovenia and Hungary with emphasis on the reasons for exit |
Secondary abstract: |
Entrepreneurship is a very broad concept, which is reflected in the fact that various authors give it a different name. Despite different definitions, entrepreneurship is an important part of the economy of a country. Entrepreneurship fills the gaps between science and the market, contributes to innovation, creates the right jobs and influences the development and growth of the economy.
GEM (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor), which studies and analyses entrepreneurship in different countries, also mentions the termination of business as one of the stages of entrepreneurial activity. This phase also contributes significantly to entrepreneurial dynamics in a given economy. However, entrepreneurs decide to terminate their business for various reasons, not only because of their unsuccessful business operations.
In our thesis, we first introduce key concepts, such as entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs in general, followed by presentations of Slovene and Hungarian entrepreneurship. We also present GEM and its analysis of entrepreneurial activity. The main part of the thesis is to present the reasons for the termination of entrepreneurial activity in Slovenia and Hungary and make a comparison in our final part of the project.
If we compare the reasons for the closing of businesses in Slovenia and in Hungary, we find that mostly differ in regards to retirement, which is more frequent in Slovenia than in Hungary. This information is not surprising, since there are more and more older people in Slovenia every year. In both countries, the most common reason for abandoning entrepreneurial activity was the unprofitability of the company. |
