Abstract

Cilji diplomske naloge so podrobneje spoznati sam pojem motivacije in vse, kar sodi k njej. V teoriji smo preučili motivacijo, motivacijske dejavnike, motivacijske teorije, generacije in generacijske razlike.

Secondary title: Employee motivation at sij acroni d.o.o.
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis we discussed motivation of employees between generations. We tried to find out what motivates individual generations, whether there are any differences in motivating generations. We were also interested in whether the younger generations are more motivated by monetary factors, while the older generations non-monetary factors. The results of the thesis are the answers to the research questions. Only satisfied and motivated workers can achieve good results and contribute to the success of the company. Of course, we cannot motivate all employees in the same way, because something different is important for each individual. Additionally different generations should be motivated by different factors. We will try to prove this in the diploma thesis. The goal of the thesis is to get to know the concept of motivation in detail and everything that is associated with it. The goal is also to gain new knowledge about the generations. And if we connect these two together, it is logical that the goal is also to find correlations between the two. In theory, we studied motivation, motivational factors, motivational theories, generations, and generational differences.
