Abstract

Spletni razvijalci se pri izdelavi spletnih strani pogosto odločajo za uporabo sistemov za upravljanje vsebin, saj nam ti s pomočjo že vgrajenih funkcij pohitrijo in olajšajo izdelavo spletnih strani. V diplomskem delu smo najprej predstavili lastnosti sistemov za upravljanje vsebin, prednosti in slabosti njihove uporabe, ter skupine, v katere jih razvrščamo na podlagi njihovih lastnosti. Nato smo opisali platformo October CMS in ogrodje Laravel, v katerem je platforma zgrajena. Uporabo in delovanje platforme October CMS smo prikazali na praktičnem primeru razvoja spletne strani, v okviru katerega smo uporabili tudi druge sodobne spletne tehnologije.

Secondary title: The development of a modern website using the system for managing web content October CMS
Secondary abstract: Web developers often favor content management systems when building web sites, because they offer built-in features which accelerate and simplify web site deployment. The thesis describes the properties of content management systems, their strengths as well as weaknesses and the grouping based on their features. This is followed by a closer look at the October CMS platform, and the Laravel framework on which it is built. The use and operation of the October CMS platform is further illustrated in a practical example of web site development which necessitated the implementation of other contemporary web technologies.
