Abstract

V diplomskem delu je obravnavana naprava za optični prenos podatkov, v kateri pod vplivom sončnega sevanja in zunanje temperature ter notranjih izvorov toplote prihaja do toplotnih obremenitev. Zaradi kompleksnosti naprave analitični preračun ni mogoč, zato je bilo na poenostavljenem modelu izvedenih več numeričnih simulacij za različne robne pogoje in primerjalna simulacija za primerjavo z odčitki testne naprave v realnih pogojih. Richardsonova ekstrapolacija je služila za oceno numerične negotovosti in s tem vpliva gostote mreže na rezultate numerične analize. Dobljeni rezultati bodo v pomoč in kot vodilo pri nadaljnjem razvoju naprave.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of temperature conditions in device for optical data transfer
Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis deals with a device for optical data transfer, where heat load is caused by sun radiation and outside temperature in combination with internal heat sources. Analytical calculation is impossible due to the complexity of the device; therefore, numerous numerical simulations for various parameters have been made, comparative simulation with real life parameters from test unit being one of them. Richardson extrapolation was used to determine how mesh density effects the results of numerical analysis. The results will be used as a guideline for future development.
