Secondary abstract: | This diploma work describes development of software application for finite element method calculations of statically loaded planar trusses and frames. It explains finite element method and its usage in computer programming. The results of application are verified by analytical calculations and results provided by finite element software Abaqus. Developed application has implementation of optimization module for shape optimization of planar trusses. Optimization is done by using genetic algorithms or particle swarm optimization. Results of optimizations are shown on different models. |
