Abstract

Trajnostni oziroma zeleni turizem je v turistični ponudbi, ki je vedno bolj razvita, edina prava pot razvoja, saj ohranja naravno, kulturno in socialno okolje, hkrati pa temelji na ekonomski uspešnosti turističnega poslovanja. Slovenija je zelena dežela, ki je naredila velike korake na področju trajnostnega razvoja, vsako njeno dejavnost pa prežema zelena in trajnostna nota. Ravno zato je Slovenija prva država na svetu, ki je prejela naziv zelene destinacije. Zavedamo se, da je ravno zeleno tisto, kar je naša konkurenčna prednost, in da je trajnostni turizem dejavnik, zaradi katerega smo prepoznavni. Slovenska turistična organizacija je razvila Zeleno shemo slovenskega turizma Slovenia Green z namenom, da pomaga in spodbudi čim več destinacij, da se odločijo za trajnostno delovanje. Destinacije spodbuja, da se usmerijo v zeleno gospodarstvo in razvijajo zelene modele poslovanja.

Secondary abstract:	Sustainable or green tourism is the only real way of development in a tourist offer that is constantly developing, since it preserves natural, cultural and social environment and is at the same time based on the economic success of the tourist business. Slovenia is a green country that has made large strides in the field of sustainable development and its every activity is infused with a green and sustainable note. And exactly that is the reason why Slovenia is the first country in the world to be awarded the title of Green Destination. We are aware of the fact that green is precisely what our advantage over the competition is, and that sustainable tourism is a factor that makes us recognisable. The Slovenian Tourist Board has developed Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism Slovenia Green with the intention to help and encourage as many destinations as possible to decide on sustainable operation. It encourages destinations to aim towards green economy and develop green business models.
