Abstract

V magistrskem delu so predstavljeni vzorci, tehnike in principi načrtovanja skalabilnih informacijskih storitev za platforme v oblaku. Obravnavani so trije trenutno vodilni ponudniki infrastrukture in platform v oblaku: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure in Google Cloud Platform.

Secondary title: Design of scalable services for cloud platforms
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis presents patterns, techniques and principles for the design of scalable information services for cloud platforms. Three currently leading cloud infrastructure and platform providers are dealt with; these are Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Service that is delivered within Docker container is implemented with Spring Boot framework. Setup of data source, configuration of Amazon EC2 Container Service and setup of Kubernetes platform in Microsoft's and Google's cloud are also presented. The load test that was performed shows the operating of an auto scaling mechanism which uses horizontal scalability to manage the performance of service that is delivered into the cloud.
