Abstract

Podlaga za izdelavo magistrskega dela je povpraševanje enote Ulitki v podjetju Talum d.d. po novem orodju za litje aluminijevih zlitin. Naročnik projekta (nemško podjetje Bosch) je zasnoval nov izmenjevalec toplote imenovan C6 future, ki ga je bilo potrebno preučiti, iz prejetega modela ulitka izdelati model jedra ter model trajne forme, vključno z vsemi pripadajočimi elementi, ki jih orodje za litje zahteva. Prejet je bil zahtevnik ter dokumentacija (risbe mehansko obdelanega kosa). Konstrukcija orodja je potekala po orodjarskih standardih, ki zahtevajo prilagojeno (natančnejšo) strojno obdelavo in uporabljene materiale. Zahtevana je bila simulacija klasičnega orodja, prav tako je projekt potekal v razvojni smeri prilagojenega gravitacijskega litja, ki je še nepreizkušeno, zato smo morali tudi za tak način litja izvesti simulacije.

Secondary title: Construction of a tool for aluminium gravity casting
Secondary abstract: The basis for the master's thesis is the demand from the unit Ulitki at company Talum d.d. for the new gravity casting tool to produce aluminum alloy products. The project founder (German company Bosch) has designed a new heat exchanger called C6 future, which had to be examined. A model of the core and permanent form (including all the related elements required by the casting tool) were designed from the received model of the cast. Requester and documentation (drawings of mechanically treated piece) were received. The tool construction was carried out according to tooling standards, which require customized (more precise) machining and used materials. Simulation of the classical tool was required. This was also a development project which had a purpose to test adapted gravity casting (with tilting of the tool). Because this is new technology, simulations for this type of casting were also made.
