Abstract

Delo je osredotočeno na zbiranje materialnih podatkov sipkih materialov za numerične simulacije na podlagi metode diskretnih elementov. Materialne lastnosti se pridobijo na podlagi eksperimenta in so nato uporabljene pri validaciji teh lastnosti v metodi diskretnih elementov. Rezultati simulacije stroja za peskanje se uporabijo za primerjavo numerične ter eksperimentalne metode določevanja profila gostote abraziva v stroju za peskanje. Z numerično analizo parametrov procesa peskanja, lahko izboljšamo proces peskanja ter geometrijo stroja za peskanje.

Secondary title: Identification and validation of shotblasting material properties and their use in discrete element method based numerical simulations
Secondary abstract: The work focuses on the collection of material data of bulk materials for numerical simulations based on the method of discrete elements. The material properties are obtained on experimental basis and then used to validate these properties with discrete element method numerical simulation. The results of the simulation of the blasting machine are used to compare the numerical and experimental methods to determine the density profile of the abrasive material used in a blasting machine. By numerically analyzing the parameters of the shot blasting process, we can improve the process of shot blasting and geometry of the blasting machine.
