Secondary abstract: | The work focuses on the collection of material data of bulk materials for numerical simulations based on the method of discrete elements. The material properties are obtained on experimental basis and then used to validate these properties with discrete element method numerical simulation. The results of the simulation of the blasting machine are used to compare the numerical and experimental methods to determine the density profile of the abrasive material used in a blasting machine. By numerically analyzing the parameters of the shot blasting process, we can improve the process of shot blasting and geometry of the blasting machine. |
