Abstract

Ob kopičenju blata iz čistilnih naprav se strokovnjaki srečujejo s težavo, kako blato ekonomsko učinkovito pripraviti za sežig. Ena od metod je sušenje, ki sem jo v nalogi obširneje obdelala. Ob preučitvi strokovne literature, sem v raziskovalnem delu izvajala meritve in izračune s pomočjo numeričnega modeliranja. Na osnovi pridobljenih podatkov ugotavljam, da je že po drugi fazi sušenja dosežena zadostna vsebnost suhe snovi, vsako nadaljnje sušenje bi bilo ekonomsko neupravičeno. Metoda, ki je bila razvita za razpršilno sušenje zeolita, lahko služi za sušenje odpadnega blata na različnih čistilnih naprav, z ustreznimi prilagoditvami. Rezultati pa nam lahko pomagajo pri izbiri in dimenzioniranju ustrezne tehnologije za sušenje.

Secondary title: Drying of sludge from waste water treatment plant
Secondary abstract: With the accumulation of sludge, experts are facing a problem of how to prepare the mud the most economically efficient for burning. One of the methods is drying, which I used more broadly in my work. Upon examination of the literature, I carried out measurements and calculations with the help of numerical modelling in my research. On the basis of the information obtained I found out that already after the second stage of drying adequate dry matter content is achieved, any further drying would be economically unjustified. The method that has been developed for spray drying of zeolite can serve for drying of sludge at different wastewater treatment plants with the appropriate adjustments. The results can help us with the selection and dimensioning of the appropriate technology for drying.
