Abstract

Kapnometrija se vse bolj uporablja med anestezijo in intenzivno terapijo, kjer se uporablja kot nadomestek za določitev krvnih plinov ali za spremljanje umetne predihanosti bolnika. V izogib visokim vrednostim PETCO2 je namen magistrskega dela ugotoviti ali se pri visokih pretokih kisika zviša kopičenje CO2 v Sentri maski in ali obstaja razlika v PETCO2 med Sentri obrazno masko in obrazno masko, ki smo jo sami izdelali.

Secondary abstract: Capnometry is used increasingly more in anaesthesia and intensive therapy where is useful as substitute for defining of blood gases or monitoring artificial ventilation of patient. We wish to avoid the effects of high flowrates of PETCO2 hence the purpose of this master thesis is to determine whether by high flowrates of oxygen increases accumulation CO2 in Sentri™ ETCO2 mask and if exists difference in measured PETCO2 betwen Sentri™ ETCO2 mask and face mask that we created.
