Abstract

V magistrskem delu predstavimo digitalno televizijo in predhodnice le-te. Posebej se osredotočimo na IP televizijo. Pričakujemo, da se bo v nekaj letih število kanalov na televiziji precej povečalo. Slabost tega je, da uporabnik pri brskanju vsebin izgubi veliko časa, težava je tudi s preglednostjo vsebin. V delu razvijemo vtičnik za multimedijski center, ki obdela vsebine glede na uporabnikove želje in vrne rezultate, ki ustrezajo ključnim besedam. Uporabnik med zadetki izbere njemu ustrezno vsebino.

Secondary abstract: The master thesis presents digital television and its predecessors. We focus on IP television especially and we expect that in a few years the number of channels on television will increase considerably. The disadvantage of this will be that the user will lose a lot of time in content browsing, and also there will be a problem with the content transparency. In the written assignment we have developed an add-on (plugin) for multimedia center that will process the content according to user preferences and will return the results that corresponds with the given keywords. The user will then choose appropriate/desired content among these hits.
