Abstract
V magistrskem delu smo raziskali množične odprte spletne tečaje (MOOC-e) na temo varne rabe interneta, ki je, glede na današnjo dobo digitalne tehnologije, vedno pomembnejša. Poudarek smo dali MOOC-om, namenjenim slovenskim osnovnošolskim učencem, saj je internetna varnost zagotovo tema, s katero se morajo spoznati in jo tudi usvojiti. Učenci se namreč že zelo zgodaj srečujejo s pametnimi telefoni, prenosnimi in tabličnimi računalniki ter ostalimi napravami. Tako jim je največkrat omogočen tudi preprost dostop do spleta, pri katerem pa se žal premalokrat znajo ustrezno vesti.
Področje računalništva je v slovenskih šolah še vedno preveč zapostavljeno, saj se mu še ni uspelo uveljaviti na mestu enega izmed obveznih predmetov, čeprav bi bilo to nujno potrebno. S tem bi učenci dobili osnovna znanja, ki jih nujno potrebujejo za aktivno udeležbo na spletu, tako z varnostnega vidika kot tudi z vidika same uporabe.
V nalogi smo želeli preveriti, kako se bodo omenjeni MOOC-i obnesli med učenci zadnje triade slovenskih osnovnih šol. Želimo si namreč, da izobraževanje učencev poteka na način, ki se v šolstvu kaže kot najučinkovitejši. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da so lahko MOOC-i, z ustrezno motivacijo in aktivnim delom učencev, primeren in učinkovit način izobraževanja.

Secondary abstract: |
In the thesis we conducted a research about massive open online courses (MOOCs) that target the topic of safe Internet use which is getting more and more important in this age of digital technology. Our emphasis was on the MOOCs aimed at Slovenian primary school students, since kids start using devices like smart phones and computers that have web access at an early age and Internet security is most definitely a topic they need to learn about.
Computer and informational science is an area that is still very neglected in Slovenian schools and it still hasn't become a mandatory course as it should. With this kind of courses students would gain at least basic knowledge they necessarily need for their active and safe participation on the World Wide Web.
We wanted to see how the before mentioned MOOCs will fare amidst the students of primary school as we want the education of students to take the most effective way. The results of our research show that with the right kind of motivation and students' active work, MOOCs can be a suitable and effective way of education. |
