Abstract

V magistrskem delu Mešani zbori Antona Schwaba je predstavljeno življenje in delovanje Antona Schwaba. Podrobneje so analizirani njegovi mešani zbori.

Secondary abstract: This thesis Anton Schwab's Mixed Choirs presents the life and work of Anton Schwab. Thorough analysis focuses mainly on his mixed choirs. In detailed analysis of his opus we focus primarily on his mixed choirs. Anton Schwab was a composer, doctor, dentist and chess player. He mainly worked in Celje and thus advanced the level of people's awareness in the areas of health, dentistry and choir music. His works border Romanticism and Moderne, however, his expressive means and stylistic devices indicate the end of Romanticism. He is placed among his contemporaries: Josip Ipavec, Emil Adamič, Hugolin Satter, Risto Savin and Anton Lajovic. The methodology of the thesis is based on two complementary principles - the analysis of historical sources and the analysis of his opus.
