Abstract
Zaradi zmanjšanja izpustov škodljivih emisij v okolje in strogih ekoloških predpisov se v motorjih z notranjim zgorevanjem vedno bolj uporabljajo alternativna pogonska goriva. V diplomskem delu je predstavljena njihova proizvodnja in uporaba, bolj podrobno pa je kot pogonsko gorivo predstavljen bioetanol. Glavni cilj diplomskega dela je ugotoviti, kako uporaba različnih mešanic bioetanola in dizelskega goriva vpliva na karakteristike izbranega dizelskega motorja, ter potrditi oziroma ovreči domnevanja, da je uporaba bioetanola okoljsko in ekonomsko bolj sprejemljiva kot uporaba čistega dizelskega goriva.
V diplomskem delu so primerjane karakteristike motorja ob uporabi čistega dizelskega goriva, pridobljene s pomočjo eksperimentalnih meritev, ter rezultati numeričnih simulacij za različne mešanice dizelskega goriva in bioetanola. V ta namen je bil s pomočjo programa AVL BOOST izdelan računalniški model testiranega motorja.

Secondary abstract: |
In order to reduce the quantity of harmful emissions released into the environment and due to strict environmental regulations, the use of alternative fuels in internal combustion engines continues to grow. This diploma thesis deals with their production and use. A special emphasis is placed on a type of fuel called bioethanol. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to establish the effects that the use of various diesel-bioethanol blends has on the characteristics of the chosen diesel engine. Furthermore, it aims to test the assumption that the use of bioethanol is environmentally and economically more acceptable than the use of pure diesel fuels.
In the diploma thesis, the engine characteristics, derived from experiments on engines using pure diesel fuel, and the results of numerical simulations for various diesel-ethanol blends are compared. For this purpose, a computer model of the tested engine was created using AVL BOOST software |
