Abstract

Skozi celotno diplomsko nalogo smo se skušali osredotočiti na primernost zaposlovanja invalidov. Veliko ljudi se sprašuje ali je sploh primerno zaposlovanje invalidov na področju zasebnega varovanja? Pri tem vprašanju se je potrebno postaviti v kožo delovnega invalida in razmisliti ali bi si sploh želeli delati na področju zasebnega varovanja in kakšne so možnosti za zaposlitev? Diplomsko delo je napisano z namenom, da se odkrijejo dodatne možnosti za zaposlovanje invalidov na področju zasebnega varovanja. Glede zaposlovanja invalidov na omenjenem področju, ne obstaja veliko virov. Kaj je razlog temu? Mogoče je problem, da je na tem področju premalo zaposlovanja. Kljub temu najdemo v Sloveniji nekaj invalidskih podjetij, ki zaposlujejo delovne invalide na delovnih mestih zasebnega varovanja. Pri pregledu in analizi literature in anketnih vprašalnikov smo ugotovili, da možnosti za zaposlovanje invalidov obstajajo, da se iz leta v leto izboljšujejo, vendar pa je potreben dodatni razvoj za zaposlovanje v sektorju zasebnega varovanja. Najti je potrebno delovna mesta, ki so prilagojena zdravstvenim omejitvam invalidov. Cilj diplomskega dela je potrditi ali ovreči štiri zastavljene hipoteze, katere se nanašajo na primernost zaposlovanja delovnih invalidov na področju zasebnega varovanja ter na možnosti zaposlovanja pred desetimi leti in danes. Vse štiri hipoteze so vezane tako na teorijo kot tudi na rezultate izvedene ankete. Diplomsko delo je namenjeno vsem delodajalcem, da bodo spoznali, da so invalidi prav tako lahko gonilo podjetja in da lahko dosežejo enako dnevno normo kot zaposleni, ki niso invalidi. Potrebna je zgolj prilagoditev delovnega mesta in nekaj sočutja. Invalidi spadajo v posteljo ali na voziček. To je miselnost, ki se je ne moremo otresti, vendar je ljudem potrebno dati le priložnost, jih pri tem spodbujati in širiti možnosti zaposlovanja ali ohranjanja zaposlitve.

Secondary title: The employment of people with disabilities in the field of private security
Secondary abstract: Throughout the thesis, we tried to focus on the suitability of employing disabled people. Many people wonder whether it is appropriate to employ disabled people in the field of private security. First we have to consider if disabled people would even want to work in the field of private security and whether there are employment opportunities. The intention of thesis is to uncover additional options for employment of disabled people in the field of private security. There are not a lot of resources on the topic of employment of disabled people. What could be the reason? The problem could be the lack of employment opportunities in general. But there are some companies employing disabled people in Slovenia, that employ disabled workers in the field of private security. During the assesment and analysis of literature and questionnaires we discovered that there are employment possibilites for disabled people and that they are getting better year after year. But there is still the need for additional developement in the sector of private security. We need to find jobs that are adjusted to the medical restrictions of disabled workers. The goal of the thesis was to confirm or refute four given hypotheses, which deal with suitability of employing disabled workers in the field of private security and with employment opportunities ten years ago and today. All four hypotheses are based both on theory and on the results of questionnaires. Thesis is meant for all employers, who will learn that disabled people can be the driving force of the company and can do the same amount of work as employees without disability. All that is needed are reasonable adjustment in employment and some compassion. Disabled people belong in the bed or in the wheelchair. That is the mindset that we can't seem to get rid of, but people just need to be given a chance, be encouraged and have their chances of getting or keeping employment increased.
