Abstract

Drugi del predstavljata teorija medpredmetnega povezovanja in primerjava tega pojma v izbranih učnih načrtih. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati ankete, s katero smo pri učencih preverjali poznavanje antičnih vsebin, in rezultati anketiranja učiteljev likovne umetnosti, slovenščine in zgodovine, s katerim smo želeli preveriti izvedbeno raven medpredmetnega povezovanja.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of the Master's thesis titled Cross-Curricolar linking of antique topics is to draw attention to the importance of discussing ancient content in primary school curriculums and provide suggestions for the implementation of cross-curricular integration. In this work, the latter is based on the integration of three primary school subjects: Fine Arts (as the starting point), Slovenian language and History. The theoretical part is divided into two parts; the first one presents the representation of ancient content and the development of the school system in Europe and Slovenia throughout history, which provides an outline of changes and upgrades of school content until today. This is followed by a study of contemporary curriculums of three selected subjects as the starting point to find possibilities for cross-curricular integration of ancient content, appearing at individual subjects. As a part of this, we briefly present curricular content of the subjects History and Slovenian language, which allow cross-curricular integration of ancient content. The second part consists of the theory of cross-curricular integration and the comparison of this concept in selected lesson plans. The empirical part presents results of the survey, which we used to analyse the knowledge of pupils about ancient content, and the results of the survey among teachers of Fine Arts, Slovenian language and History, with which we wanted to check the implementation level of cross-curricular integration. Based on the results of both surveys, we provide suggestions for the improvement of cross-curricular integration and present one of the possibilities for the integration of the three selected subjects, which bases on the selection of art pieces focusing on ancient topics, from the rich treasury of art history.
