Abstract

Magistrsko delo z naslovom Naravnogeografske značilnosti in okoljska problematika v Južni Ameriki prikazuje naravnogeografsko raznolikost Južne Amerike in aktualne okoljske probleme. V prvem delu magistrskega dela so predstavljene geomorfološke značilnosti in geološki razvoj, podnebne, hidrogeografske, biogeografske in pedogeografske značilnosti. Predstavljena je tipizacija in značilnosti posameznih naravnogeografskih regij. V drugem delu so z vzročno-posledično analizo prikazani in predstavljeni okoljski problemi Južne Amerike, in sicer: deforestacija in uničevanje življenjskega prostora, erozija in degradacija prsti, izkoriščanje naravnih virov ter onesnaževanje zraka in voda. V zadnjem raziskovalnem poglavju smo na podlagi prejšnjih ugotovitev in izdelanega gradiva pripravili predloga za vinjeto v srednješolskem učbeniku in predlog za izvedbo učne ure obravnavane tematike kot dodatno vsebino v gimnazijskem izobraževalnem programu.

Secondary abstract: The Master's thesis with the title Natural geographical features and environmental issues in South America shows the natural geographic diversity of South America and current environmental problems. In the first part of the thesis are presented its geomorphological features and geological development, hydro geographic, biogeographic and pedogeographic features. Presented are the typology and features of individual natural geographic regions. A causal - consequent analysis in the second part presents environmental problems of South America, deforestation and destruction of living area, erosion and deterioration of soil, exploitation of natural sources and pollution of air and water. In the last part of the research are given some suggestions for a vignette in the secondary school student's book, which are based on the previous findings and prepared materials. Added is a suggestion for a lesson on the topic as the additional teaching contents in the high school educational programme.
