(diplomsko delo)
Abstract
Pogoste stresne situacije in preobremenjenost lahko vodijo v izgorelost zaposlenih. Ena izmed metod obvladovanja stresa je supervizija. Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti, kako supervizija pripomore k zmanjševanju stresa in izgorelosti. V diplomskem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo.

Supervision as an aid for prevention from burnout in nursing staff |
Secondary abstract: |
The great physical and psychological efforts faced by employees in the field of nursing are stressful. Continuous stressful situations can lead to the burnout of employees. One of the methods of managing stress is supervision. The purpose of this diploma thesis was to determine how supervision contributes to reducing stress and burnout. In the thesis, a descriptive method was used. The research was based on a quantitative method. An anonymous structured closed-type questionnaire was used as the basic research instrument. The nursing staff at one of the clinical departments within a clinical center in Slovenia was selected as the target population. The collected data was analyzed using Excel. Data analysis showed that the nature of nursing work is stressful. Stress frequency differs among employees; the most common triggers are difficult patients and the complexity of work. Employees often experience physical and emotional symptoms of stress. The respondents understand the concept of supervision as help at work for an individual or group; more than half of the employees would ask their supervisor for help in the event of a stressful situation. Long-term exposure to stress can lead to burnout. Supervision can unburden an employee and prevent burnout. |
