Abstract

Diplomsko delo opisuje in grafično prikazuje dejavnike oziroma faktorje, ki vplivajo na zvok v kontrolni sobi glasbenega studia (šum, odboj, lom, refleksija, difrakcija, časovni odmev reverbacije). Z različno opremo in postavitvijo zvočnikov ter absorpcijskih materialov smo ugotovili, kako mora biti kontrolna soba optimizirana, da je primerna za glasbeno produkcijo. Pri tem smo opravili meritve valovanja zvoka v prostoru, katere smo primerjali z zvokom v dnevni sobi. Na podlagi tega smo v ugotovitvah določili, kaj je smiselno preurediti, da bi bila dnevna soba kar se da primerna za poslušanje in produkcijo glasbe, prav tako pa tudi, ali je to sploh mogoče. Meritve smo opravili s programom Sonarworks reference 3, ki so nam ga priporočili v glasbenem studiu.

Secondary title: Factors that influence sound in control room of audio production studio
Secondary abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to describe and graphically depict the factors affecting sound – namely hums, reflections, refractions, diffractions, echoes and reverberations – in the control room of a music studio. The optimal configuration of a control room used for producing music is deduced by using different equipment, speaker setups and absorption materials. Measurements of sound waves in a room are conducted and compared to sound in a living room. These findings can determine how a living room should be set up to make it as suitable as possible for listening and producing music and can determine whether this is even possible. The measurements are conducted using the program Sonarworks Reference 3, which was recommended by the music studio.
