Kraj spominov: urbanistična in arhitekturna prenova pokopališča Rogoznica na Ptuju

Abstract

Kraji spomina so še danes kraji, kamor se vračamo s težkim korakom. Pokopališče je prostor spomina, ki ga je potrebno oblikovati z veliko mero spoštovanja in rahločutnosti, v njem pa se morata odražati miselni proces lokalne krajine in spoštovanje žalnih ritualov. Magistrsko delo obravnava problematiko pokopališke krajine in arhitekture po Sloveniji in svetu. S teoretično podkrepljenimi dejstvi je podana idejna rešitev za arhitekturno in urbanistično prenovo pokopališča Rogoznica na Ptuju, to pa je le eno od mnogih pokopališč v Sloveniji, ki so potrebna močnega premisleka o zasnovi nove, kvalitetnejše in primernejše ureditve. Vodilo nove zasnove rogozniškega pokopališča je želja po izboljšanju kakovosti počutja žalujočih in obstoječi prostor, v katerem je možen dostojni sloves od preminule osebe, navdati z brezčasnostjo. Nov prostor s premišljenostjo forme, detajlov in materialnosti obiskovalcu vzbuja občutek spokojnosti, z zadržanim merilom pa ustvarja kraj spominov, ki bo morda s časom prispeval k izboljšanju odklonilnega odnosa do tovrstne zadržanosti arhitekture. Nova zasnova kraja spominov ne glede na ustaljene smernice pogrebov spodbuja svobodo izražanja čustev vseh obiskovalcev.

Secondary abstract:	Places of memories still represent places where we take a brief trip down our memory lane. The cemetery is a place that needs to be formed with a great deal of respect and sensibility, and it must reflect the thought process of the local landscape with a large amount of respect for grieving rituals. This master thesis deals with the problems of the cemetery landscape and architecture of Slovenia and the world. The conceptual solution for the architectural and urban renovation of Rogoznica cemetery in Ptuj is conceived with theoretically proven facts. Rogoznica cemetery is one of many cemeteries in Slovenia, which emphasize the strong reflection on designing new, better and more appropriate arrangement. The leading idea of the new concept is improvement of mourner's emotional state and upgrading the existing space to the space of timelessness and decent farewell to the deceased person. A new space gives the visitor a sense of tranquillity and creates a place of memories that will one day contribute to improving the negative attitude towards this kind of reticence of architecture. This new architecture encourages the visitors to freely express the feelings in their hearts, regardless of the pre-existing and established guidelines of burials.
