Prehrana brejih mačk in mačjih mladičev

Abstract

V modernem življenju imajo hišni ljubljenčki vse večjo vlogo v človeški družbi. Živijo z nami in so praktično povsod v naši bližini. Za prijetno sobivanje z njimi je zanje potrebno primerno skrbeti (higiena, prostor…) in poskrbeti za njihovo zdravje, za to pa je ključnega pomena tudi krma, ki jim jo ponudimo. Prilagojena mora biti starosti in fiziološkemu stanju živali. Kot ljubiteljica malih živali, sem se odločila nekoliko bolj podrobno raziskati potrebe po različnih hranljivih snoveh za breje mačke in mačje mladiče. V tem času so potrebe po energiji in tudi drugih hranljivih snoveh povečane. Poleg tega, smo na trgu poiskali krmne mešanice enega proizvajalca, namenjene brejim mačkam, mačkam v laktaciji in mačjim mladičem ter odraslim mačkam ter njihovo sestavo po hranljivih snoveh primerjali med seboj in z normativi. Zanimalo nas je tudi, iz katerih komponent so te krmne mešanice sestavljene. Ugotovili smo, da se glede na potrebe mačk v različnih življenjskih obdobjih razlikujejo po analitski sestavi in da so na deklaraciji navedene vsebnosti v skladu z normativi.

Secondary abstract:	In modern life, pets have growing role in human society. They live with us and are everywhere in our vicinity. For a pleasant coexistence with them, we need to take proper care for them (hygiene, space…) and take care for their health, which is connected with offered feed. It should be adjusted to age and physiological state of animals. As a lover of small animals, I decided to explore a bit more details of need for a variety of nutritious substances for pregnant cats and kittens. At the time of pregnancy and lactation cat's nutrition requirements increased and also the nutrition requirements of kittens are different as for adult cat. In addition, at market we looked for the food for pregnant cats, lactating cats, adult cats and kittens and according to their composition, compared them with each other and with the requirements. We were also interested, from which components are these mixtures compound. We found that according to the needs of cats, they differ in analytical composition at different stages of life. The declared content is in accordance with the requirements.
