Abstract

Ti so bili v času raziskave stari 18–55 let. V vsaki skupini, kontrolni in eksperimentalni, je bilo 10 oseb. Podatke o telesni sestavi smo dobili z analizatorjem telesne sestave (Tanita BC-601F).

Secondary title: Influence one-month training program and diet for body fat reduction
Secondary abstract: Balanced diet and moderate physical activity are vital for one’s health, bringing a better quality of life. Studies have shown that eating habits can help us control fat levels. The purpose of this thesis was – in persons included in the program - to determine differences in the body fat proportion before and after the one-month program. We compared two groups, one of which carried out a one-month exercising program and the other, in addition to this one-month exercising program, also had a dietary regimen. The exercising program consisted of combination of strengthening and aerobic exercises, while a dietary regimen was based on predominantly plant-based diet. The sample group consisted of 20 male and female persons aged between 18 and 55 years at the time of this research. In each of the groups, control and experimental, there was 10 persons. The body composition data was obtained by a body composition analyser (Tanita BC-601F). Measurements were performed twice, before and after the one-month program. We compared the parameters of body weight and percentage of body fat of both groups. The obtained data on body weight and the proportion of body fat of both groups were compared and differences identified. The results were analysed using SPSS predictive analytics software and Microsoft Excel. The analysis showed that the measuring results of the experimental group had a statistically significant reduction in the percentage of body fat (p = 0.000), while in the control group, we haven’t found any statistically significant difference (p = 0.420). The findings of the research showed that one-month exercise program together with nutritional regimen can influence the reduction of body fat.
