magistrsko delo
Abstract
V magistrski nalogi smo proučevali vpliv različnih oblik in koncentracij selena (Se) (selenit, selenat s koncentracijami 5 mg/L, 10 mg/L in 15 mg/L) ter kombinacije selenita in selenata s koncentracijo 5 mg/L na izbrane fiziološke, biokemijske in morfološke lastnosti navadne špinače. Rastline špinače smo vzgojili na poskusnem polju v rastlinjaku in smo jih posamezno škropili po listih z različnimi raztopinami selenata, selenita in kombinacijo selenita in selenata. Kontrolne rastline niso bile tretirane. Merili smo vsebnost klorofila a, klorofila b, karotenoidov, antocianov, UV-A in UV-B absorbirajočih snovi, fotokemično učinkovitost fotosistema II, aktivnost elektronskega transportnega sistema, specifično listno površino, vsebnost vode v listih in v nadzemnem delu rastline, svežo in suho maso nadzemnega dela rastlin, maso in število rastlin. Ugotovili smo, da so posamezne oblike selena in njuna kombinacija z različnimi koncentracijami na rastline različno vplivale ali pa vpliva nanje ni bilo. Posamezni tretmaji niso predstavljali stresa za rastline.

ǂThe ǂeffect of different forms and concentrations of selenium on selected physiological, biochemical and morphological properties of common spinach |
Secondary abstract: |
The effect of different compounds and concentrations of selenium (Se) (selenite, selenate in concentrations 5 mg/L, 10 mg/L in 15 mg/L) and combination of selenite and selenate in concentration 5 mg/L on selected physiological, biochemical and morphological properties of spinach were studied. Plants were grown in experimental field and were foliary sprayed with different solutions of selenate, selenite and their combination. Control plants were not treated. We measured the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids, anthocyanins, UV-A and UV-B absorbing compounds, photochemical efficiency of photosystem II, activity of electron transport system, specific leaf area, water content in leaves and aboveground part of plants, wet and dry mass of aboveground part of plants, mass and number of plants. The effect of different selenium compunds and their combination in different concentrations on plants were different, or there were no effect on measured parameters. Used treatments did not induce stress to spinach plants. |
