Abstract

Postati viden je poglaviten vzrok optimizacije spletnih strani. Zaradi količine informacij, ki so v današnjem času že dostopne na internetu, obstajata ponudnikom le še dve vprašanji: ali so potrošniki našli in izbrali prav njihovo stran in ali so prekosili svojo konkurenco. Podjetje se zaveda, da je konkurence ogromno, zato si z novo vsebino prizadeva utrditi stik s trenutnimi strankami in s pomočjo priporočil ambasadorjev (vrhunskih športnikov, ki jih podjetje sponzorira) pridobiti nove stranke. Namen naše naloge je bil izdelava spletne strani, katero bi optimizirali za spletne strani in nato s pomočjo spletnega analitičnega orodja Google Analytics opazovali in ugotovili, kakšen vpliv je imela na povečanje prodaje in obiska spletne trgovine. Cilj je bil pokazati, če in v kolikšni meri ima nadgradnja spletne strani vpliv na obiskanost in prodajo spletne trgovine podjetja. V nalogi smo po naročilu naročnika, analizi konkurence in začrtanih temeljih s pomočjo sistema za upravljanje vsebin (CMS) WordPress izdelali spletno stran Ambasadorji. Spletno stran smo z uporabo vtičnika, ki ga sistem ponuja, optimizirali za spletne strani in z uporabo orodja Google Analytics preučevali tri mesece. Po analizi rezultatov smo prišli do ustreznih zaključkov in priporočil za nadaljnji razvoj.

Secondary abstract: Becoming visible is the main objective of search engine optimization. Due to the sheer quantity of information available on the internet, only two questions remain for the content providers. Have the consumers found and chosen their web page and have they beaten their competition. The company is aware of the immense amount of competition. Therefore, they aim to enhance contact with their current customers by adding new content and to attract new customers by getting recommended by ambassador referrals (top athletes sponsored by the company). The purpose of our thesis is to create a web page, which will be optimized for search engines, and, subsequently, use the online analytic tool Google Analytics to monitor incoming data and determine how and in what way our web page affected the company's online store sales and view count. Our goal is to prove whether and to what degree upgrading the web page has on the number of visits and sales of the company's online store. For our thesis, we created a web page called Ambasadorji based on market analysis and predetermined foundations at the behest of our client using a content management system (CMS) WordPress. We optimized the web page for search engines using a plugin provided by the system and analyzed it for 3 months using Google Analytics. After the analysis, we came to suitable conclusions and recommendations for further development.
