diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija
Abstract
V tem diplomskem delu smo poleg nekaterih teoretičnih vprašanj s tega področja predvsem raziskali tematiko zaposlenosti in brezposelnosti mladih žensk v Republiki Sloveniji (RS) v daljšem časovnem obdobju, in sicer na osnovi uradnih, javno dostopnih podatkov Zavoda Republike Slovenije za zaposlovanje in Statističnega urada Republike Slovenije.
V tem okviru smo v empiričnem delu raziskali veljavnost dveh hipotez.

EMPLOYMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT OF YOUNG WOMEN |
Secondary abstract: |
In the modern world, employment is a pressing problem for both genders as it does not only imply a fight for survival, but it is due to its extraordinary role in our lives also among the (most) important issues of an individual and society. When dealing with the question whether both genders are treated equally, we come across sexual discrimination. The belief that household maintenance and care for family members are “natural” women’s roles is still quite common, despite the fact that women are employed and therefore work for payment outside their homes. The problem of differences also appears when trying to find employment, as employers often see cheaper and easily replaceable labour force in women.
Based on official, publicly accessible data of the Employment Service of Slovenia and of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, my thesis focuses on the topic of employment and unemployment of young women in the Republic of Slovenia over an extended period of time, along with concentrating on some theoretical issues from this field.
Considering this, the validity of two hypotheses has been considered in the empirical part. |
