Abstract

So nosilci informacij in so vključeni v kibernetski prostor.

Secondary title: Drone cyber security
Secondary abstract: Knowing cyber security is crucial in protecting information and information systems. This group also includes unmanned aerial vehicles, which, in other words, are called drones. They are information carriers and are involved in cyberspace. The technology and popularity of these devices represent an entry point for potential attackers. Drones are divided in military and civil area. Historical data show that drones were initially developed as military technology and consequently the first cyber attacks were carried out on military drones. Due to the simple use and the possibility of use in other areas, the number of civil drones now exceed the number of military drones. The trend of cyber attacks has thus gained new dimensions. It is reflected in the military field as a new form of warfare and in the civilian field as a new forms of social engineering. Such a widespread use of drones represent certain risks. The most common attacks in the dron are control takeover, data capturing, sabotage and espionage. Drones can carry and process critical data on military missions or personal data, which if compromised, would pose a serious threat to the injured party. Since drones are equipped with many sensors and are guided over wireless connections, which make them vulnerable and susceptible to cyber attacks. Cyber attacks are not a novelty. From history it is evident that they have been present for quite some time. Already known defenses to detect cyber attacks in drones are not enough. Drones represent the so-called system of systems, that can be successfully protected only by a combination of protection measures that cover protection for all systems. After all, they are specific flying objects with a certain degree of autonomy. In protecting drones, it is also important to emphasize the importance of the human factor. It is necessary to raise awareness among pilots about safety risks and potential threats to them. In this way, pilots can actively participate in the provision of preventive safety and thus contribute their part to systemic defense. If we recognize a particular threat, we can begin to implement countermeasures.
