Abstract

V magistrskem delu je predstavljena idejna zasnova prostorske ureditve obalnega pasu med Koprom in Izolo. Na osnovi statističnih, geografskih in drugih raziskav posameznih pojavov v prostoru je v nalogi podrobno proučeno dejansko stanje prostora. Izsledki teh raziskav so služili kot osnova za odločanje o načrtovanju posegov v prostor. Idejna zasnova, vključno s preveritvijo umestitve umetnega otoka v akvatorij med Koprom in Izolo, je bila s pomočjo ankete preverjena med lokalnim prebivalstvom. Želje in potrebe lokalnega prebivalstva so bile nato upoštevane v idejni zasnovi prostorske ureditve obalnega pasu med Koprom in Izolo. V zaključku so predstavljeni še predlogi za nadaljnje raziskave in smernice za bodoče prostorsko načrtovanje na obravnavanem območju. V magistrskem delu je posebej poudarjen pomen vključevanja javnosti v proces prostorskega načrtovanja. Povzeti so strokovni pristopi, metodologija, veljavni predpisi ter stanje na področju participacije javnosti v procesu prostorskega načrtovanja v Sloveniji in tujini.

Secondary abstract: The thesis presents the conceptual design of the spatial arrangement of the shoreline strip between Koper and Izola. Based on statistical, geographical and other analyses of the individual spatial phenomena the thesis examines in more details the actual spatial conditions. Those research findings were the basis for further decision making in the planning of spatial interventions. The concept, including the proposal of the placement of an artificial island in the marine region between Koper and Izola, was verified through a survey with the local population. The wishes and needs of the local population have been then included in the submitted conceptual design for the spatial arrangement of the shoreline strip between Koper and Izola. Proposals for further research and guidelines for spatial planning in the considered area are presented in the conclusions. The thesis also highlights the importance of the public participation in the spatial planning process. The professional approaches, methodology, applicable regulations and current state of the public participation in spatial planning process in Slovenia and abroad are summarised.
