Abstract

V okviru analiz geometrije doskočišča letalnice smo primerjali dejansko geometrijo snežne površine s projektirano (teoretično) geometrijo, izračunali debelino snežne površine in analizirali natančnost označitve oznak dolžin poletov. Vhodni podatki izvedenih analiz so bili oblaki točk terestričnega laserskega skeniranja letalnice pred zasneževanjem ter vseh tekmovalnih dni v letu 2017. Poleg numeričnih in grafičnih rezultatov opravljenih analiz smo v okviru raziskav naredili tudi oceno ustreznosti metode zajema prostorskih podatkov tovrstnega zasneženega objekta s terestričnim laserskim skeniranjem. Dobljeni rezultati predstavljajo osnovo za morebitno vsakoletno analiziranje oblike doskočišča in pomoč organizatorjem pri pripravi letalnice.

Secondary title: Analysis of the landing slope geometry of the Gorišek Brothers' ski flying hill
Secondary abstract: Ski flying is an extreme sport taking place in natural environment. In addition to the weather conditions, the construction or geometry of the ski flying hill, both inrun and the landing slope, has a major impact on flight safety. For the purpose of master%s thesis, we analysed the landing slope geometry of the Gorišek Brothers% ski flying hill in Planica, it being ready for the World Cup matches in the summer of March 2017, respectfully. In the analysis of the landing slope geometry, we compared the actual geometry of the snow surface with the projected (theoretical) geometry, calculated snow surface thickness and analysed the accuracy of jump length markings. Input data of the analyses carried out were the terrestrial laser scanning point clouds of the ski flying hill before snowing and during all days of competition in 2017. In addition to the numerical and graphical results of the performed analyses, we also assessed the adequacy of the method of capturing spatial data of this kind of a snowbound object with terrestrial laser scanning. The results obtained form the basis for a possible annual analysis of the shape of the slope and a help for organizers in preparing the ski flying
