diplomska naloga visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa I. stopnje strojništvo
Abstract

Design of a landing system for catching of an unmanned airplane |
Secondary abstract: |
Due to the change in the area of operation of C-Astral's Bramor unmanned airplanes from land to sea, a design of a new landing system is needed to allow efficient use of these aircraft in the new field. The development of the new system is mainly driven by the intended use of Bramor aircraft on Slovenian army vessel Triglav, where the existing landing system of the airplane (integrated parachute) is not sufficiently precise for use. It is therefore necessary to design a new landing system that allows precise landings in the spatially restricted area represented by the vessel. At the beginning of the work, the functional and structural constraints of the system are presented through which the first concept is designed. The first concept is than presented through structural components and use, and finally an evaluation of the concept is given. In the continuation, the first concept is transformed into the second concept due to additional new requirements, which were presented during design phase. Similarly to the first concept the second concept is presented in terms of construction elements and use. Finally the third concept is presented which is the result of tests and some new and changed requirements. Like the first and second concepts, it is initially presented through the point of view of construction elements and use. In the continuation of the work, the third concept is than presented through its elements as the final form of the system. The system is in its final form designed to satisfy all functional and constructional demands, it is reliable, easy to use, and designed in such a way that it allows certain modifications to be made to the system to adapt it to specific types of vessels. |
