Abstract

Preverili smo točnost in ponovljivost elektrod s pomočjo t-testa in izračuna RSD.

Secondary title: Development and validation of a Bi-Sn electrode
Secondary abstract: This master's thesis presents a partial validation study of an electroanalytic method of in situ plated bismuth-tin-film modified glassy carbon electrode for the trace analysis of Zn(II), Cd(II) and Pb(II) heavy metals. The analysis was carried out using square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) technique and the reversibility of the system was checked by cyclic voltammetry (CV) using potassium hexacyanoferrate system. The validation began with determination of the detection limit (LOD) and the quantification limit (LOQ) for 12 modified Bi(III)-Sn(II)-film glassy carbon electrodes with different concentration ratios of Bi(III) and Sn(II), followed by method's linearity determination. We validated the accuracy and reproducibility of electrodes using t-test and RSD values. The results have shown that the most optimal electrode is the one for which 0.5 mg L-1 Bi (III) and Sn (II) with the 0.4:0.6 ratio was used in its in situ plating solution. Using this electrode we studied the influence of interferences on selected analytes - Zn (II), Cd (II), and Pb (II), and used the method for two real samples.
