| Secondary abstract: | A pendulum system is a device that is used in the production process of the stone wool. Mechanical damage occurs to the device due to dynamic loads leading to an eventual failure of the pendulum system. With the use of Lagrange%s equations a dynamic model was determined upon which excitation forces on the pendulum were obtained. Structural dynamics analysis was performed to identify natural frequencies, mode shapes of the pendulum and frekvenc response functions of strain for the most critical areas of the system. The conclusion is that the pendulum system operates close to its first natural frequency. The latter is the main reason for the failure of the pendulum system. |
