Abstract

V diplomski nalogi je zajet kratek pregled PVD prevlek. Poudarek je na trdih PVD prevlekah, ki se uporabljajo za nanos na orodja za preoblikovanje kovin. V prvem delu je predstavljena kratka zgodovina napredka orodnih materialov in zgodovina trdih prevlek. V nalogi je predstavljenih nekaj klasičnih in največkrat uporabljenih trdih prevlek. Opisane so tudi določene lastnosti prevlek. To so trdota, koeficient trenja, temperatura oplaščenja, najvišja delovna temperatura in značilen odtenek barve. Sledi opis postopkov s katerimi lahko PVD prevleke nanesemo na orodje. Na koncu pa so kratka navodila, kako mora biti orodje obdelano preden nanj položimo trdo PVD prevleko.

Secondary abstract: This dissertation is covering a short overview PVD coatings, that are most applied for covers on metal forming tools. In the first part of dissertation is represented a quick history progress of tool materials and the history of hard coatings. In work are introduced some classic hard coatings. This work is also talking about coating properties like hardness, coefficient of friction, coating temperature, max. service temperature and its colour. Follows the part explaining how PVD coatings are applied to tools. In the end of this presentation are short directions how tool must be prepared before we put PVD hard coating on it.
