Abstract

Namen magistrskega dela je bil raziskati odnos med barvo in simboli v likovni ustvarjalnosti devetošolcev. V teoretičnem delu smo raziskali barve ter barvne odnose, simbol in razumevanje tega skozi različna zgodovinska obdobja ter področja simbolike. Poglabljali smo se v odnos med barvo in simboli, barvno simboliko ter simboliko barvnih odnosov, kjer smo se osredotočili na barvne kontraste in barvne akorde. Temu je sledila analiza barvnih odnosov na primerih likovnih del – proučili smo simbolno vrednost barvnega odnosa s prevladujočo barvo. V empiričnem delu smo se sprva osredotočili na obstoječe znanje devetošolcev oz. njihovo razumevanje barv in simbolov ter odnosa med njimi, kar smo preverili z anketnim vprašalnikom. Nato smo v akcijski raziskavi z učenci 9. razreda najprej obnovili obstoječe znanje in ga za tem nadgradili. Poučila sem jih o odnosu med barvami in simboli ter jim približala barvne akorde, v katerih se barvna simbolika ne gradi le na posameznih barvah, pač pa na odnosih med njimi. Barvno simboliko se namreč večinoma obravnava zgolj z ozirom na posamezne barve, ne pa tudi s poudarkom na tem, kako na simbolno vrednost barv vplivajo odnosi med barvami. V akcijski raziskavi smo zato ugotavljali vpliv take ponazoritve na razumevanje učencev. Na podlagi analize rezultatov smo podali smernice za razlago dotične problematike v likovnem izobraževanju devetošolcev.

Secondary title: Relationship between colours and symbols in art class for ninth graders
Secondary abstract: The purpose of this master thesis was to explore the relationship between colours and symbols in Art class for ninth graders. In the theoretical part we studied colours and colour relationships, symbols and understandingthe latter through various historical periods and areas of symbolism. We deepened our knowledge about the relationship between colours and symbols, colour symbolism, and the symbolism of colour relationships and this is where we focused on the colour contrasts and colouraccords. This was followed by the analysis of colour relationships based on art works – we studied the symbolic value of the colour relationship with the predominant colour. In the empirical part we initially focused on the alreadyexisting knowledge of the ninth gradersand their understanding of colours and symbols and the relationship between them, which we then verified with a questioner. With the help of the action research, we renewed the already acquired knowledge of the ninth graders and upgraded it. I taught them about the relationship between colours and symbols and acquainted them with colour chords in which the colour symbolism is not built only on the individual colours, but the relations between them. Colour symbolism is mostly discussed only in connection to individual colours and not with the focus on how the symbolic value of the colours is affected by the relationships between colours. We have therefore tried to establish the impact of such a visualization on the understanding of the pupils with the action research. Based on the analysis of the results, we gave guidelines for the explanation of the above-mentioned problems in Art education for ninth graders.
