In today's increasingly dynamic environment the survival of each individual undertaking demands timely and quality information, which is obtained through effective computerization of business processes. The most successful companies in this area of work are those, recognising that computerisation not only changes or modernises information systems and other information and communication technology but also alters and modifies the way of thinking, structural organisation as well as methods of work. Since computerisation influences the business operation of the company as a whole it shall be thoroughly planned, take into consideration as many factors as possible, which affect the company's success and actively monitor its implementation in order to be successful and effective, which means it shall bring prompt and correct information, which might at the same time represent an essential competitive advantage. |
