Abstract

Diplomska naloga zajema opis orodij in tehnologij ter razvoj spletne galerije »galx«. Povod za razvoj aplikacije je vedno večja potreba različnih vrst umetnikov po samopredstavitvi na spletu. Namen diplomske naloge je razviti specifični CMS (»Content Management System«) sistem s primarno funkcionalnostjo spletne galerije, ki bo stremela k čim boljšem pokritju uporabniških zahtev in preprostosti uporabe. Kot sekundarne funkcionalnosti pa bo rešitev vsebovala še ostale ključne elemente, ki jih mora vsebovati vsaka predstavitvena stran na spletu: blog, komentarje, povezave, statične strani z dodatnimi informacijami itn. Dodana vrednost te rešitve za uporabnika je možnost enostavnega ustvarjanja in urejanja vsebin ter prilagajanja oblike spletne strani lastnim potrebam. Ciljni uporabniki sistema »galx« so predvsem različni tipi umetniško usmerjenih podjetij ali posameznikov in tisti, ki bi se želeli na spletu predstaviti z zbirkami slik.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis contains a brief description of tools and technologies, as well as the development of “galx” web gallery. The catalyst to develop this application is the increased need of different types of artists for self presentation on the web. The purpose of the thesis is to develop a specific CMS with web gallery as its primary functionality, which is going to try covering user demands and include an intuitive user interface. Its secondary functionalities are the other usual key elements of any self presentation website: blog, comments, links, static pages, etc. The advantages of such an application for the user are the possibilities to easily create and edit content and the adaptation of the page's design to personal needs. The target users of the “galx” system are mainly different types of businesses or individuals who would like to present themselves with collections of images.
