Abstract

Secondary abstract: The United Nations brings together the nations of the world. Its basic cell is peaceful Member State that shares the same ideas and visions as the organization itself and is also committed to the maintenance of international peace and security and international cooperation in the field of economic and social development and cooperation in general. With the establishment of the United Nations has been further confirmed the belief in human rights and at the same time human rights were for the first time universally and internationally protected through mechanisms for their protection and promotion and protection programs. In order to protect future generations from the horrors of war was kept the idea of collective security as central objective of the United Nations. The success of the system was ensured by five permanent members of the Security Council with the key role of the maintenance of international peace and security as enshrined in article 24. of the Charter.
