Abstract

Secondary title: Process parameter determination for microcrystalline cellulose drying in fluid bed
Secondary abstract: Fluid bed is physical phenomenon that is used in different industries. Particles floats in the liquid and because of that there is extremely high contact surface between liquid and particles which provides the intense transfer of heat matter. In the first part of my degree the basics of fluid bed are explained and in second part analytical calculation of heat and mass balances in drying operation was made. The calculation showed that the size of particles has a significant effect on the operation of the device. It was found that larger particles were dried better then smaller ones.
