Secondary abstract: | Cybercrime is viral spreading increasingly across cyberspace and represents a growing threat to global organizations and internet users. Cybercrime focuses on government organizations the most, as these represent the most valuable source of information for the exploitation and manipulation. Consequently, such a successful attack cause maximum damage. It is a modern form of crime that is steadily replacing its traditional forms. The phenomenon involves various methods of abuse, but they all share the usage of the Internet and networks. The Internet has enabled attackers with their techniques and technical knowledge to rapidly penetrate key information illegally. Any information system without proper protection and conscious of its user is potentially compromised. Thus, ensuring the safety and privacy of internet users represents the biggest challenge of modern society. |
