Abstract

Gospodinjsko izobraževanje ima lahko pomembno vlogo pri izboljšanju kakovosti življenja otrok. Vsebine gospodinjstva se poučujejo v javni osnovni šoli in tudi v waldorfski zasebni osnovni šoli. Namen diplomskega dela je identificirati vsebinska področja in vsebine gospodinjstva v učnih načrtih javne osnove šole in waldorfske zasebne osnovne šole ter jih med seboj primerjati. Pri raziskovanju sem podatke pridobila s kvalitativno raziskavo z vsebinsko analizo dokumentov, ki temelji na pregledu učnih načrtov predmetov, ki vključujejo vsebine gospodinjstva v obeh omenjenih šolah. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da se vsebine gospodinjstva v zasebni waldorfski osnovni šoli v primerjavi z javno osnovno šolo pojavljajo pri različnih predmetih in v različnih razredih. Nekatere vsebine lahko zasledimo že v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju in se nadaljujejo tudi v zadnje vzgojno-izobraževalno obdobje, kjer se nadgradijo. Ugotavljam, da se omenjeni šoli med seboj razlikujeta tudi po načinu poučevanja določenih gospodinjskih vsebin. V waldorfski osnovni šoli se pri obravnavi teh vsebin pojavi več praktičnega dela kot v javni osnovni šoli. V učnih načrtih zasebne waldorfske osnovne šole so bile identificirane vsebine, ki so vključene v učni načrt gospodinjstva javne osnovne šole, vendar nekatere vsebine niso obravnavane tako podrobno kot v javni osnovni šoli. Ocenjujem, da bi bilo smiselno v javnih osnovnih šolah primerno vključevati vsebine gospodinjstva v vse vzgojno-izobraževalne nivoje ter izvajanje pouka na določenem področju bolj usmeriti k usvajanju praktičnih veščin učencev. V waldorfski zasebni šoli pa bi bilo smiselno učno snov dopolniti z vsebinami o načrtovanju nakupov, izboru in nakupu tekstilnih izdelkov ter označevanju živil.

Secondary title: Contents of the home economics in Waldorf elementary school
Secondary abstract: A Course of Home Economics may critically enhance a child’s life quality. Home economics has been taught in public primary schools, as well as in Waldorf private primary schools. The purpose of this Degree Dissertation has been to identify the main thematic areas of home economics in the syllabus in public and in Waldorf primary school, and to compare them. Data has been collected for further analysis by quality document analysis based upon syllabus examination, concerning home economics in different educational courses in both types of primary school. Analysis of results has shown that thematic areas of home economics have been taught in different courses and at differing educational stages, when comparing Waldorf with public primary school. Some themes have been covered already at the first educational period and have been continued and upgraded during the last educational period. Analysis has shown that some elements of home economics have been taught differently: Waldorf school offers more practical training than does public school. On the other hand, certain thematic areas of home economics have been identified in the syllabus at Waldorf school showing smaller importance than in public school. I have reached the following conclusions: thematic areas of home economics should be introduced at all educational stages at primary public schools and should focus on acquiring practical skills. At Waldorf private primary school the syllabus should be enhanced to include: purchasing, planning, selection and purchase of textiles, and labelling of food.
