Master's thesis contains research work about on improving the quality of elderly life to who participate in computer courses, which are freely organized by the Municipality of Ljubljana, with the aim of computer literacy of elderly. Nowadays, computer literacy is the concept of lifelong learning. In the theoretical part we have defined the age group with which we have conducted a survey and highlighted the improvement of the quality of its life by attending computer courses and the consequent increase in computer literacy and socializing with their peers. Than is followed by methodology, qualitative content analysis and presentation of results. We have conducted a group interview, in which we focused on participants explanations that certain things, events and circumstances, on the basis of their own experiences, attributed certain meaning. Computer literacy of elderly is one of the individual components of lifelong learning, giving them a sense of independence in the world of information and communication technologies. |
