Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je bil primerjati pet najbolj priljubljenih spletnih orodij za UML modeliranje. Najprej smo izbrali kriterije in diagrame za primerjavo, nato smo v vsakem orodju narisali diagrame. Primerjali smo skladnost orodij z jezikom UML, kakšno pomoč nudijo, ali si lahko uporabniški vmesnik prilagajamo, kako lahko prilagodimo diagrame za tisk, ali podpirajo delo več uporabnikov na istem projektu in ali omogočajo generiranje dokumentacije. Po primerjavi se zdi, da spletna orodja ne morejo povsem nadomestiti namiznih. Se pa dobro razvijajo in upamo, da se v prihodnosti izboljšajo do te mere, da povsem nadomestijo namizne različice.

Secondary title: Comparison of online tools for UML modeling
Secondary abstract: The aim of diploma thesis was the comparisson of five most popular web tools for UML modeling. First we chose criteria and diagrams for the comparisson, then we draw diagrams in each tool. We compared compliance of tools with language UML, possibilities to help a user, possibilities to costumize user interface, ways to costumize diagrams for printing, ability for joint work of different users on the same project and ability for generating the documentation. After the comparisson it seems like web tools cannot completely replace desktop tools. However, they are developing well, which gives hope for development after which web tools would have been able to replace the desktop ones.
