Secondary abstract: | The diploma work describes the development of an electronically embedded system for capturing the consumption of water. The system is powered by a small battery and can be attached to any water tap. The diploma work is based on the topic of social responsibility in terms of rational water consumption. The electronic system measures and records the outflow of water.Data logging is done in two steps. Firstly recording data in to the internal memory of the real time clock, and then sending the recorded data to a data logging server after a certain number of records. In addition of recording the data from the consumed water, we also record the voltage of the battery. With the data obtained, we can run statistics with which we can increase the rational consumption of drinking water. The diploma thesis describes in detail the complete system. Presented is also the weekly operation of the water consumption meter. |
