Informacijska razvitost slovenske družbe

študija na primeru občine Kočevje

Abstract

Informacijske tehnologije so se v zadnjem desetletju razširile v vse dele slovenske družbe. Prisotne so tako v gospodarstvu- kot v zasebnem življenju. Do informacijskih tehnologij in znanja za njihovo uporabo pa nima dostopa vsak državljan. Informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije so lahko nedostopne zaradi visokih cen, nerazvite infrastrukture ali neznanja o uporabi le-teh. Slovenska družba močno zaostaja tako za najrazvitejšimi evropskimi državami, kot za evropskim povprečjem; tako sem skozi nalogo raziskal glavne dejavnike, ki vplivajo na uporabo oziroma neuporabo IKT in kako vplivajo na razvitost slovenske družbe. Podrobneje sem raziskal tudi, kako občina Kočevje zaostaja po informacijski razvitosti, saj je med slabše gospodarsko razvitimi občinami v Sloveniji. Na slabšo informacijsko in gospodarsko razvitost občine Kočevje močno vpliva stopnja dosežene izobrazbe prebivalcev, ter slabo razvita fiksna in mobilna infrastruktura.

Secondary abstract:	Information technologies have spread to all parts of the Slovenian society within the last decade. They are present in the economy as well as in private life. However, not all citizens have access to information technologies and knowledge to use them. Information communication technologies may be inaccessible due to high process, undeveloped infrastructure or lack of knowledge to use them. The Slovenian society greatly lags behind the most developed European countries as well as the European average; therefore, throughout my thesis I have studied the main reasons impacting the use or non-use of ICT, and how they impact the development of the Slovenian society. I have also explored in more detail how far is the Municipality of Kočevje behind in terms of information development, considering it is one of the less developed municipalities in Slovenia. Poorer information and economic development of the Municipality of Kočevje is highly influenced by the level of education achieved by its population, and poorly developed fixed and mobile infrastructure.
