Abstract

Zaključna naloga obravnava nov dizajn ohišja žarilne svečke. Namesto, da je ohišje narejeno iz enega surovca, je sestavljeno iz dveh predhodno izdelanih kosov in spojeno s postopkom laserskega varjenja. Z znanimi dimenzijami in zahtevanim momentom privitja svečke smo izvedli trdnostno analizo novega dizajna in predstavili možne probleme, ki bi jih varjena konstrukcija lahko predstavljala.

Secondary abstract: This Bachelor's thesis discusses new design of a glow plug housing. The housing is made out of two separate parts instead of one piece of material. The two parts are laser welded together. We have made thorough strength analysis of the new concept with known dimensions and required tightening torque. We have looked through possible drawbacks the welded housing might have.
